Isaiah 44:3

"3. For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants."

This scripture in Isaiah is what God is going to in Marion, God is going to pour out His spirit on Marion, He will poor his spirit on the children and young people of Marion, and blessing will given.

Oasis is what the young people of FPC decided to call themselves, because we BELIEVE that God through his spirit is going to use Oasis to reach this city. Websters Dictionary describes an oasis as;

1 : a fertile or green area in an arid region (such as a desert)

• The caravan stopped to rest at an oasis.

 

 

2 : something that provides refuge, relief, or pleasant contrast

In this season of our nation, that will go down as one of the most spiritually dark times in our History, Oasis Youth is determined to be the refuge, the relief, we will be spiritual water in a dry place.
